Together with clathrin, forms meshwork structures involved in membrane morphogenesis and cytoskeletal organization. Regulates integrin-mediated signaling. May play a role in activation of FAK in response to cell-matrix interactions. Mediates ubiquitination of ACLY, leading to its subsequent degradation..
