Involved in stimulation of glucose uptake by insulin. Involved in coupling from immunoreceptor to Ras signaling. Acts as a negative regulator of cytokine signaling in collaboration with CBL. Induces cytoskeletal reorganization and neurite outgrowth in cultured neurons..
